Thank you for your services; we wouldn’t have been able to put together the funeral we did without your help.

I’ve had lots of people say to me that the funeral was a lovely celebration of Max’s life.

We as a family were left with a feeling of Sarah telling the story of a beautiful soul who Sarah knew personally, which she did not.

She has helped us tremendously through this journey in a difficult time.

It was important to us as a family to provide a warm, caring journey, and Sarah did this brilliantly.

The dignified way in which we were able to farewell Rayma was in major terms due to your skill and guidance during the preparation phase and at the actual service, which you conducted with the care and precision that mirrored our family perfectly.

I have had so many people comment on how wonderful you were.

You did such an amazing job of Cam’s service.

Thank you once again for the perfect way you brought Mum’s story to life.

You conveyed the way she was with compassion and reinforced all her loving qualities.

Funerals

It is one of my greatest honours to facilitate the funeral process for family and friends who are grieving. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to hear stories and memories of fascinating people (even the most “normal” of lives has involved something interesting), and I respect this opportunity for the privilege it is.

I am a warm, calming presence at a funeral, always prepared to go above and beyond to create a funeral ceremony that provides the start of the healing process.

With a background in event management, I am willing and able to manage the logistics of a ceremony (multiple speakers, AV requirements, etc) as well as writing and delivering a personal, heartfelt ceremony and eulogy.

While I love being given the opportunity to craft a eulogy myself, I am also experienced in supporting family members or friends to write and deliver the eulogy. I have many resources available, including prompt questions to start the process of remembering a life and capturing the important moments.

I am also available to work with people before they die, both to design their ideal funeral service and to write their eulogy; after all, nobody knows their own life story better than the person themselves, and it can be useful to capture as much information from a person’s own memories before they pass. I have resources available that create a structured and safe way to capture a person’s wishes for how their memory is honoured, from their wishes regarding burial or cremation through to how they want their funeral service to run, including music and reading choices.
