From the moment I met you I fell head over feet and with every passing day the love I have for you grows. You have been by my side through all the good and the bad and I hope to repay that in the years to come. I love that you are willing to try new things with me, like jumping out of a plane, and that you are happy with kicking back watching TV shows. I promise to get better at cooking and to be the one you can rely on when you are sick, sad, or just need someone to listen. I will aim to be the husband you need but more importantly the husband you deserve. I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with you.
You always tell me that you knew we were meant to be from the moment you laid eyes on me. You said we’d be together forever and always…I didn’t believe you. It took me a long time to come around because I couldn’t see and I wasn’t ready for what was right in front of me the whole time. The thought running through my mind was “he doesn’t even know me, how can he know this?” Reflecting on it now it occurs to me that we were always on each other’s radar checking in and making sure that everything was ok. Today as we begin our married life, I make this commitment to share my life with you. I promise to always be there for you, to support you and to show you love every day. You’re my Superman. I love the way you love and care for me, I love the way you trust and believe in me, I love you, and the life we are building together. Always and Forever.
